Our Mission

We are a gospel-centered community that is pursuing Jesus, serving our neighbors and making disciples.

Our Vision

To experience gospel transformation in our homes, our neighborhoods and our city for the glory of God.

What Do We Mean?

Pursuing Jesus“We love him, because he first loved us.” – 1 John 4:19

Jesus (God, the Son) has redeemed us to God through His death and resurrection. The rest of our lives should be the dedicated pursuit of knowing God and walking in the ways of Jesus. We should live as disciples (students or apprentices) of Jesus. This pursuit will continue the rest of our lives and we will continue to change as we are being sanctified (transformed) into being like Jesus.

Serving Our Neighbors“Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.” – Philippians 2:4

There are many opportunities to serve the city and to serve the church. Each one of us is called to love our neighbors (including those who are hard to love and even our enemies). We love partnering with Christian organizations throughout the city, but we also personally reach out to our neighbors in need. There are many needs in our city and in our church, and by God’s grace, we want to fulfill those needs.

Making Disciples“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” – Jesus (Matthew 28:18-20)

We declare to our neighbors the good news of the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ: through both personal and public outreach, and through worldwide missions. This leads to one-on-one and group discipleship, where questions are encouraged and people are taught what it means to truly worship God and to follow the ways of Jesus.

What does it mean to be Gospel-Centered?

“But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.” – 1 Corinthians 15:10

To be gospel-centered is to do everything we do in light of the redemptive death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. It means that we live for God, not to earn merit; but we live for God, because He loves us and has already paid the price we could not pay. It means we point people to Jesus by showing the same grace and mercy that He has displayed to us. It means that we live with a grateful and thankful spirit, giving all the glory to God, because without Him we are nothing and we are lost.
